About Us
Blue Thunder Ribs was established at the beginning of 2019. Having spent many years being on the sea in and around St Ives Cornwall we had the sea and ground knowledge to launch our business. At Blue Thunder, the love and Passion we have for the sea, and the desire to provide exciting and thrilling RIB rides, is what makes us who we are and differentiates us from a standard boat ride.

We excel in being able to share amazing experiences for all our guests and keeping safety at the forefront of all our operations.
We run our trips all day every day from March – October, we carry in excess of 6,000 passengers and complete over 500 trips every season.

Our Boats
Blue Thunder Rib Rides currently has two Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIB’s) in the fleet, both vessels being manufactures by Humber RIBS Fabrications. This manufacturer is extremely reputable as they supply the armed forces and the police with their vessels.
The engines we use are also made by leading manufacturers being YAMAHA Motor Company and SUZUKI Marine, these are extremely powerful and reliable engines that give you confidence and reassurance when being out on the water. They are the best equipped boats for what we do.

All our boats are commercially coded by the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) and are surveyed every two and a half years making sure they are up to scratch and sea worthy.
